In the time of COVID, the home office is more important than ever. Moving forward, all work spaces are going to be approached differently, as it is clear that the future of ‘work’ is changing. See what Forbes and McKinsey have to say on this long term shift in the future of our work lives.

Plants play a critical role in the future of work as beautifiers, barriers, space creators, sound dampeners, mood enhancers, and intrinsic indicators of health and well being – at the home or office.

The corporate office will require new ways of thinking to create truly special spaces that appeal to a returning workforce. These spaces will need to support new public health realities while creating something even more intentional, healthy, vibrant and inspiring than the corporate offices of yesterday.

Could your home office use a video conference background and living decor to purify the air you breathe and uplift your spirit? With the corporate benefit umbrella now connecting to the home environment, Lush Elements is offering an at-home office plant delivery service we are calling Lush Living Monthly, see details below.

As we navigate this truly unique moment in history, our team is ready to help you on this journey.

Los Angeles

In LA, the old 132,000-square-foot Coca Cola bottling factory in the growing Arts District is home to the Honey hub which houses around 400 employees. With four spacious stories, including the all glass top floor, “The Park” – Lush Elements decked out their entire space with a hearty amount of innovative plant installations and carefully designed living walls.

The Honey Los Angeles office is now home to Plant Chandeliers that will change with the seasons, plants in custom built cascading pots and a colorful branded Lush Living Wall. Next month Lush Elements will be installing a rooftop of plantings complete with Lush Living Walls backing cabanas and over 4,000 square feet of planted space.

How to Turn Your At-Home Office into a Plant Paradise

First, let’s start with some of the easiest and most versatile plants for all of us beginners!

Snake, Pothos, Dracaena and ZZ plants are all some of the easiest plants to maintain, partly because of their tolerance to low-lighting making them a great choice for an indoor plant.

Snake plants need very little water and stand upright, allowing them to hold a strong presence without taking up much room.

Dracaena plants have several different types and vary in size depending on maturity. These unique beauties can fill an entire corner in low-light spaces, or serve as a lively desk plant.

Pothos (or Philodendron plants) are super fun plants that can drape from a shelf or cabinet, or even hang from the ceiling creating your own personal indoor jungle.

With thick, waxy, tropical, green leaves – a ZZ plant is a festive choice. Easy to care for, the ZZ is also well known as an air purifier for indoor settings.
