Happy 2024! Who’s ready to LEAP into the new year? We certainly are! How will you be spending the extra day this year has to offer? You can most certainly bet that each individual on our team will be doing something with plants.

2023 was an amazing year full of projects that pushed us creatively, plants that inspired us and the people who made it all happen. Big shout-out to all of you who nurtured us and made us LUSH!

A new year means a new opportunity to set intentions for the upcoming months and we are concentrating on maximizing the artistic opportunity within each project. We can’t wait to see what 2024 has to offer.

As always, I wish you happiness and abundance until the next time we meet.

2023 came to an exciting end with our Business Spotlight article that hit the virtual front page of the Santa Barbara Independent! We are so grateful to have had this local publication spread our message about the importance of having plants in one’s indoor environment. It is exciting to have the growth of our small-but-mighty company being recognized by our treasured local media outlet. But more importantly, we were ecstatic to have a platform to encourage our community members to consider donating a Lush Elements piece to their favorite non-profit organization, school or entity deserving of the benefits of plants.

“I would love to see [Lush Elements] grow, and more in ways that are beyond even my wildest dreams.” To educate people about the benefits of plants is one thing, but to make a space come alive is what Lush Elements is all about. “It’s not about the business; it’s not about me; it’s about all the talents and everybody I’ve pulled in. It’s about the lives we change every day.”

RESIDENTIAL SPOTLIGHT

Beautifying the corporate and retail world one plant at a time is a joy, but helping individuals bring a biophilic touch to their abodes is magic! We have savored working  with several individuals to Lush-ify their homes and patios.

  1. Shorter, colder days means less watering so check your plant’s soil before watering.

  2. Keep an eye on or preemptively move plants that are situated next to heat vents. They will dry out much faster than your other plants and may not tolerate direct hot air.

  3. Take advantage of rain! Place containers out before predicted rain to capture the wonderfully pure rain water for your indoor plants for a flush of chlorine and salts from the soil.

WANT TO LEARN MORE?

We are currently booking Lunch and Learn sessions for those of you who are interested in bringing lush elements to your home or business. This will be an opportunity for people to learn more about what it means to work with Lush Elements, the variety of artistic plant designs we offer, and the benefits of plant life into your built environment. Simply: we bring your people lunch, we present a quick slideshow followed by a Q&A session and we wrap up the presentation with a networking opportunity, all within 45-60 minutes.
